SERVICES

Permitting

Nearly every project requires some level of permitting from local to Federal level. Graves Engineering has permitted projects through every level of regulatory agency including local Boards and Commissions, Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR), US Army Corps of Engineers, Massachusetts Executive Office of Environmental Affairs (MEPA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), to name a few.

Survey

Graves Engineering performs detail and topographic surveys for most our engineering projects. This work is performed in the field utilizing a total station and electronic data collector. The field data is then reduced and imported into an AutoCAD electronic drawing. The three dimensional survey points are then used to create an existing conditions site drawing complete with contours.

We also perform construction control layout for footings, foundations, building column lines, site utilities, parking lots, roadways, retaining walls, stormwater detention/retention systems, and more.

Feasibility Studies

Graves Engineering is often called upon to assess a potential project’s feasibility for development; sometimes referred to as a due diligence assessment. This work may include conceptual layout schemes, evaluation of zoning and environmental constraints, site access, availability of utilities, off-site enhancements, construction costs, and permitting requirements.

Master Planning

Master planning services offered by Graves Engineering focus primarily on water and wastewater engineering.
